BAPs are instruments that have proven to be hands-on and successful for companies and standards for the integration of biodiversity-friendly measures into value chains. The additional tool BAP-Monitor aims to guide the monitoring of actions and impacts.

This session shared experience on the implementation of BAPs and the BAP-Monitor. Private Business Action for Biodiversity project, implemented by GIZ and funded by the German Federal Ministry for The Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety through its International Climate Initiative, together with Global Nature Fund and the Union for Ethical BioTrade, they talked about their experience with BAPs and discussed first steps for their implementation in an interactive session.
