The recently published Dasgupta Review, ‘The Economics of Biodiversity’, has starkly highlighted the decline of global biodiversity. Businesses need to step up investment in nature-based solutions, as part of the need for multi-stakeholder collaboration to support the protection of endangered wildlife.
In this session, APRIL Group discussed how its production-protection model supports its ecosystem restoration in Sumatra. APRIL also shared updates on its APRIL2030 strategy, which includes long term targets for conservation. The session provided insights on how businesses and NGOs can collaborate to protect endangered wildlife and how such initiatives can be scaled up to increase investment in nature-based solutions.
