We Value Nature is an EU Horizon 2020-funded three-year campaign (November 2018 –October 2021) supporting businesses and the natural capital community across Europe with the aim of making valuing nature the new normal for business.

Many businesses are starting to recognise that the natural capital crisis is a business crisis and they need to better identify, measure, value and prioritise their impacts and dependencies. Recognising the need to value nature is a real and meaningful first step, but it’s only the first step in the natural capital journey.

We Value Nature Team  - 

The coronavirus crisis is changing the world and We Value Nature is adapting to reflect the new reality. Our team is working from home to deliver more training resources online and we are remotely supporting businesses on their journeys towards a sustainable future.

In 2020 these reports confirmed a fact we’ve known for a long time: that the climate and natural capital crisis is a business crisis.

Nature is essential to the future of the planet, but natural resources are being used up faster than the Earth can replace them. Through understanding and considering the risks and opportunities created by nature, businesses can make better decisions that benefit themselves, society and the planet as a whole.
